Wives -3

Once there was Satrajit named king in Dwaraka, he was great worshipper of Lord Surya.

By getting pleased with his devotion Lord Surya gave him one diamond with name Samamntakamani. That Samantakamani used to give 170 pounds of gold everyday. When he came to Dwaraka city with his diamond Krishna told him to give it to his grandfather and the King Ugrasenudu as valuable things should be with king so that he can use them for the people but Satrajit refused to do so. Then because of the wealth given by Samantakamani Satrajit became very proud. Once his brother Prasenudu to show their wealth worn that diamond in his neck and went for hunting. There one lion thinking that diamond as a piece of  meat killed him and took that diamond.

Then Jambavanthudu living in the same forest came to know this, he went and killed the lion, got the diamond and gave it to his son for playing.
Here in Dwaraka Satrajit blamed Krishna for the disappearance of Prasenudu. He told that Krishna only did something to Prasenudu for the sake of Diamond. Krishna decided to find out the truth and he started to forest with some of his men. One story is  that this blame is the  result of Krishna watching Moon on the day of Vinayakchavathi. In the forest Sri Krishna and others found the dead body of Prasenudu and the foot prints of lion, in some distance they found dead body of lion and foot prints of bear. They followed the footprints and reached one cave. There Krishna asked other people to stay outside and went into the cave.

By the time they reached there Sisupaludu was there along with his army and his friends Jarasandhudu, Dhantavakrudu, Poundrakudu etc. Rukmini was worrying a lot because Sunandhudu not yet reached and she didn’t know whether Krishna was aware of her marriage or not. Wives - 1

Do you know how many wives Lord Sri Krishna had? According to the Bhagavatam the number is 16108. Among them 8 members are important and called as “astabharyalu”. The stories how Lord Sri Krishna married them are interesting.

The first wife of Lord Sri Krishna was Rukmini devi. She was princess of kingdom Vidharbha. Her father was Bheeshmakudu. He had five sons, with names Rukmi, Rukmadharudu,Rukmabahudu, Rukmaketisudu, Rukmanethrudu and one daughter, Rukmini. It is believed that Devi Sri Mahalakshmi actually had born as Rukmini devi.
Many visitors used to come to the house of Bheeshmakudu and they used to talk about the personality and characteristics of Lord Sri Krishna. By keep on  listening these words, Rukmini developed love towards Krishna since her childhood. As grown up she decided to marry none other than Lord Sri Krishna. Krishna also heard about the beauty and good qualities of Rukmini and he also wanted to marry her.
But the elder brother of Rukmini, Rukmi decided Sisupaludu as bridegroom for her. Sisupaludu was king of Chedi kingdom. Rukmini felt very sad about the decision of her brother and she wanted to send some messenger to convey her love towards Krishna. She choosed Brahmin Sunandhudu for this. She gave her message to Krishna to the hands of Sunandhudu and sent him to Dwaraka.
Sunandhudu went to Dwaraka and conveyed Rukmini’s message to Krishna and told howmuch she loves him and what her brother’s decision is. In her message Rukmini told to Krishna “ to come to their capital Kundinapuram with army to defeat Sisupaludu and to marry her. She told one plan that she will come to outskirts of the city to worship Sarvamangala devi one day before marriage, Krishna can come there and take her away.

Radha and Krishna got married

Do you know that Radha and Krishna were got married. Generally it is said that Radha and Krishna were lovers only and they never got married. But according to some books they got married. The story as follows,
Once there was saint couple with names Sucheendrudu and Kalavathi. They went to the coast of river Gomathi and meditated for Lord Bramha. When he appeared in front of them Sucheendrudu asked to give ‘mukti’ to him. But Kalavathi begged Brahma not to injustice to her. Then Brahma told them that they will become couple again at the end of Dwaparayugam and they will have one daughter then they will get mukti.
As said by Brahma Kalavathi borns as daughter of Bhalamdhana, the king of Kanyakubjam. She borns in yagna kundam(fire pit made for religious ceremonies). Suchhendrudu borns to great warrior Surabhanudu with name Vrushabhanudu. They get married and have one female child. They keep her name as Radha.
Saint Narada visits the place of Vrushabhanudu once and tells that the only right person to marry Radha is Sri Krishnudu. He also visits the house of Nandudu and tells him that Radha is opt to be the wife of Krishna. Both Radha and Krishna are children at that time.
Once saint Narada advices  Vrushabhanudu to go to Bhandeeravanam. He goes there along with Radha. At that time Nandudu, Yasoda, Balaramudu and Krishnudu were there. Once Radha enters into Bhandeeravanam Krishna stars crying and nobody can console him. When Radha goes there and takes Krishna into her hands he stops crying and smiles. By this Nandudu remembers the words of Narada and thinks that they might had some relation in previous birth.
At that time Lord Bramha and Devi Saraswathi appear there. Bramha arranges one pavilion there and conducts the marriage of Radha and Krishna traditionally. So, Radha and Krishna are married.
Rdah devi is calle as leelavathi in Golokam and Sri Mahalakshmi in Vikuntam. Actually there is no difference in between Radha and Krishna, they both are same.
