Once Lord Sri Krishna went to visit pancha Pandavas in Indraprastapura, when they married Droupadi. Among those five brothers Arjuna was very good friend and admirer of Krishna.

Krishna stayed for some days in Indraprastapura, at that time Arjuna and Krishna went for hunting. There they became tired while hunting and went to river Yamuna to drink water. There after drinking water they saw one young and beautiful woman roaming alone.

Krishna told to Arjuna to enquire who she is? Arjuna went to her and asked who she is? And why she is wandering there alone? That lady was river Yamuna who came as beautiful lady. She told to Arjuna that “ I am daughter of Sun. My name is Kalindi, I reside in the palace given by my father which is in the waters of Yamuna. I am here meditating to marry Lord Krishna”. And she requested Arjuna to help her in marrying Krishna.
Kalindi requested Arjuna instead directly talking to Krishna because if she asks Krishna  he may reject but when his loved worshiper like Arjuna asks he cannot reject. Arjuna went to Krishna and conveyed the message told by her. Then Krishna agreed to marry her and asked her to get into the chariot. Then after some days when Krishna went to Dwaraka from Indraprasta puram he married Kalindi, she was his fourth wife. Inside the cave Krishna saw one boy playing with Samantakamani, the maid playing with the boy shouted by seeing Krishna. By hearing the noise Jambavanthudu came there and he thought that someone came to steel the diamond. In anger he faught with Krishna. The fight continued for 28 days. At the end Jambavanthudu became tired he understood that the person with whom he is fighting is none other than Sri Krishna who is Sri Rama in former birth, who is his God. By understanding this Jambavanthudu apologized Sri Krishna. Then  Sri Krishna told that in the former birth Jambavanthudu asked Sri Rama that he want to fight with him, so that wish fulfilled in present birth. Then Jambavanthudu gave not only the Samantakamani but also his daughter Jambavathi to Sri Krishna.

The people waiting outside after some days thought that something happened  to Sri Krishna and they closed the opening of the cave and went back sadly. Wives -3

Once there was Satrajit named king in Dwaraka, he was great worshipper of Lord Surya.

By getting pleased with his devotion Lord Surya gave him one diamond with name Samamntakamani. That Samantakamani used to give 170 pounds of gold everyday. When he came to Dwaraka city with his diamond Krishna told him to give it to his grandfather and the King Ugrasenudu as valuable things should be with king so that he can use them for the people but Satrajit refused to do so. Then because of the wealth given by Samantakamani Satrajit became very proud. Once his brother Prasenudu to show their wealth worn that diamond in his neck and went for hunting. There one lion thinking that diamond as a piece of  meat killed him and took that diamond.

Then Jambavanthudu living in the same forest came to know this, he went and killed the lion, got the diamond and gave it to his son for playing.
Here in Dwaraka Satrajit blamed Krishna for the disappearance of Prasenudu. He told that Krishna only did something to Prasenudu for the sake of Diamond. Krishna decided to find out the truth and he started to forest with some of his men. One story is  that this blame is the  result of Krishna watching Moon on the day of Vinayakchavathi. In the forest Sri Krishna and others found the dead body of Prasenudu and the foot prints of lion, in some distance they found dead body of lion and foot prints of bear. They followed the footprints and reached one cave. There Krishna asked other people to stay outside and went into the cave.

Krishna understand the situation and he called his charioteer Dharakudu. He started to Kundinapuram along with Balaramudu and some other important people. The names of his horses were Syibhya, Sugreeva, Meghapushpa and Balahaka and he reached Kundinapuram in one night. By the time they reached there Sisupaludu was there along with his army and his friends Jarasandhudu, Dhantavakrudu, Poundrakudu etc. Rukmini was worrying a lot because Sunandhudu not yet reached and she didn’t know whether Krishna was aware of her marriage or not. Then Sunandhudh came there and told her that Krishna came to marry her. By listening this she felt happy and told her thanks to Sunandhudu.
Then she went to the temple there she prayed Sarvamangala devi to bless her to get Krishna as her husband. By coming out from there she saw Krishna on his chariot and he took her hand into his hands and made her to sit in his chariot.

He  blowed  his conch shell and ignoring all other kings he started to Dwaraka. By seeing this Jarasandhudu and other kings attacked Krishna. But Krishna defeated all of them.
Rukmi became very angry with this and he with his army came to fight with Krishna. Krishna defeated him, Rukmini feared that he may kill Rukmi so she begged Krishna to forgive his brother. Then Krishna shaved half of the hair of the head and half of mustache and left him. Rukmi felt very sad about this and he decided not to enter Kundina city until he defeats Krishna and he stayed at a city named Bhojakatakam.
Rukmini and Krishna got married in Dwaraka. they had ten sons. Pradhyumna was first among them and he married daughter of Rukmi later. The remaining sons were Charudheshnudu, Sudheshnudu, Charudehudu, Sucharudu, Charugupthudu, Bhadracharudu, Charuchandrudu, Vicharudu and Charudu.

Wives - 1

Do you know how many wives Lord Sri Krishna had? According to the Bhagavatam the number is 16108. Among them 8 members are important and called as “astabharyalu”. The stories how Lord Sri Krishna married them are interesting.

The first wife of Lord Sri Krishna was Rukmini devi. She was princess of kingdom Vidharbha. Her father was Bheeshmakudu. He had five sons, with names Rukmi, Rukmadharudu,Rukmabahudu, Rukmaketisudu, Rukmanethrudu and one daughter, Rukmini. It is believed that Devi Sri Mahalakshmi actually had born as Rukmini devi.
Many visitors used to come to the house of Bheeshmakudu and they used to talk about the personality and characteristics of Lord Sri Krishna. By keep on  listening these words, Rukmini developed love towards Krishna since her childhood. As grown up she decided to marry none other than Lord Sri Krishna. Krishna also heard about the beauty and good qualities of Rukmini and he also wanted to marry her.
But the elder brother of Rukmini, Rukmi decided Sisupaludu as bridegroom for her. Sisupaludu was king of Chedi kingdom. Rukmini felt very sad about the decision of her brother and she wanted to send some messenger to convey her love towards Krishna. She choosed Brahmin Sunandhudu for this. She gave her message to Krishna to the hands of Sunandhudu and sent him to Dwaraka.
Sunandhudu went to Dwaraka and conveyed Rukmini’s message to Krishna and told howmuch she loves him and what her brother’s decision is. In her message Rukmini told to Krishna “ to come to their capital Kundinapuram with army to defeat Sisupaludu and to marry her. She told one plan that she will come to outskirts of the city to worship Sarvamangala devi one day before marriage, Krishna can come there and take her away.

Radha and Krishna got married

Do you know that Radha and Krishna were got married. Generally it is said that Radha and Krishna were lovers only and they never got married. But according to some books they got married. The story as follows,
Once there was saint couple with names Sucheendrudu and Kalavathi. They went to the coast of river Gomathi and meditated for Lord Bramha. When he appeared in front of them Sucheendrudu asked to give ‘mukti’ to him. But Kalavathi begged Brahma not to injustice to her. Then Brahma told them that they will become couple again at the end of Dwaparayugam and they will have one daughter then they will get mukti.
As said by Brahma Kalavathi borns as daughter of Bhalamdhana, the king of Kanyakubjam. She borns in yagna kundam(fire pit made for religious ceremonies). Suchhendrudu borns to great warrior Surabhanudu with name Vrushabhanudu. They get married and have one female child. They keep her name as Radha.
Saint Narada visits the place of Vrushabhanudu once and tells that the only right person to marry Radha is Sri Krishnudu. He also visits the house of Nandudu and tells him that Radha is opt to be the wife of Krishna. Both Radha and Krishna are children at that time.
Once saint Narada advices  Vrushabhanudu to go to Bhandeeravanam. He goes there along with Radha. At that time Nandudu, Yasoda, Balaramudu and Krishnudu were there. Once Radha enters into Bhandeeravanam Krishna stars crying and nobody can console him. When Radha goes there and takes Krishna into her hands he stops crying and smiles. By this Nandudu remembers the words of Narada and thinks that they might had some relation in previous birth.
At that time Lord Bramha and Devi Saraswathi appear there. Bramha arranges one pavilion there and conducts the marriage of Radha and Krishna traditionally. So, Radha and Krishna are married.
Rdah devi is calle as leelavathi in Golokam and Sri Mahalakshmi in Vikuntam. Actually there is no difference in between Radha and Krishna, they both are same.

Man with thousand hands -1

Do you know a man with thousand hands? His name is Karthaveeryarjuna and here is a story about him.
Once in Threthayuga there was a king in Hyhaya lineage with name Karthaveerya. His capital was Mahishmathi. He had thousand wives but no one had  children. The king was very much worried of this, and he worshipped so many Gods but he did not got a child. Finally he decided to do  penance until his desire fulfills. He went to forest for that purpose. Among his queens, one queen with name Padmini born in the Ekquaku lineage and daughter of King Harishandra followed him to the forest.
King went to the  Gandhamadha  mountain area and starts doing penance for Lord Vishnu. Even after ten thousand years Lord Vishnu didnot appeared to him. Worried about the status of her husband Padmini went to devotee Anasuya and asked for solution. She told to do “Yekadasi vrath”. By doing this Lord Vishnu appeared in front of  her and asked what she wants? She asked to fulfill her husband’s desire.

Then Lord Vishnu appeared in front of king Karthaveerya and asked what he wanted? The king asked to give “a son with so much strength who should not get defeated with gods or human beings or snakes or demons. He should be defeated only with Lord Vishnu”. Then Lord Vishnu give that boon to him. With that after coming to the his kingdom queen Padmini became pregnant and delivered a boy with name Karthveeryarjuna, who was very powerful.
One more story is that Karthveeryarjuna was Sudhrshana chakra of Lord Vishnu in former birth as Sudharshana chakra is becoming proud that because of him Lord Vishnu is able to kill all, Lord Vishnu makes him to take birth as a human and he is Karthveeryarjuna.
King Karthaveeryarjuna used to worship Lord Sridatta, with his  blessings  he became very powerful, got thousand hands and many powers. Once with his hands he stopped the river Narmada and was playing with his queens. King Ravana came there and at the bank of the river he was worshipping Lord Shiva. As Karthaveeryarjuna released his hands the water immersed King Ravana. Ravana become so serious and came to fight with Karthaveeryarjuna. But Karthaveeryarjuna defeated him and imprisoned him. After some years  the saint Pulasthya made Karthaveeryarjuna to release him from prison. Like this Karthaveeryarjuna became the very powerful person in the universe.
With the blessings of Sridatta swamy, Karthaveeryarjuna got the power of flying in the air. Once as he was flying like that he watched Lord Indra playing with his dancers. He criticized Indra that he got the crown by playing many bad tricks and he is misusing his powers. Indra became serious with words and decided to teach a lesson to Karthaveeryarjuna. He sends Lord Agni to the assembly of Karthaveeryarjuna. There Agni comes as Brahmin and  asks Karthaveeryarjuna to give him sufficient food. Karthaveeryarjuna agrees, then Agni appears in his real form. Being compelled with the word has given Karthaveeryarjuna agrees to help Agni. Agni burns the hermitage of saint Vasista. Then the saint recognizes who helped Agni and curses Karthaveeryarjuna that he will die in hands of a saint.

Rebirths-6

After Lord Krishna killed king Kamsudu, his brothers with names Kankudu, Vyagodhakudu, Gahvudu etc became very angry about the death of their brother and came to kill Krishna. Balaramudu alone kills all  them. These were sons of Devayakshudu in former births with names Devakuta, Mahagiri, Ganda etc. once their father ordered them to go to Manasa sarovaram and get flowers for worshipping Lord Shiva. These brothers on the way got pleased with the smell of the flowers and smelled them. Because this they got Vcchistokrutha dhosham (mistake of  worshipping with smelled flowers or tasted fruits) and they born as demons in three consecutive births. In they the third birth they born as sons of Vugrasenudu and younger brothers of Kamsudu and died in the hands of Balaramudu.

After killing them Krishna and Balaramudu freed their parents Devaki and Vasudevudu from the prison. Devaki asked Krishna as he brought back his master’s died son  like that she wants to see her sons killed by Kamsudu once. To fulfill the desire of his mother Krishna along with Balaramudu went to Pathalalokam which was ruled by Bali. And Krishna says to Bali that, “once in the Swayambhuva manvantharam there was saint couple with names Mareechi and Uurna. They had six sons with names Smarudu, Udhghadhudu, Parishvangudu, Pathangudu, Kshudrabhuvu and Gruni. Once they misbehaved with Lord Brahma and because that got cursed to born as demons. By this actually they should born to Hiranyakasipudu. But by the affect of yogamaya they had born  to Devakidevi and Kamsudu killed all of them immediately after birth”. Now they are with you Bali, please send them with us by this they will get relived of their curse. Then Bali sends them with Krishna by seeing them Devakidevi becomes very happy then these six people go back to their own place after getting relieved by curse.
At the end of his incarnation, Lord Sri Krishna was lying down in one forest. There one hunter comes and by watching the sole of Krishna he mistakes it as some animal and shoots an arrow, it goes and hurt Krishna and taking this as opportunity Lord Krishna ends his incarnation  and goes back to Vikuntam. That hunter was Vali in former birth who died in the hands of Lord Sri Rama as Rama shot him by arrow from behind the tree. To correct that mistake Sri Krishna ended  his incarnation in the hands of hunter.
